Door knob covers

He opened this door in about 10 seconds, and his sister, who is 3.5! has a hard time opening the door! I think this kid is AMAZING! LOL or else the door knob covers just don't work! What I should do, is send a letter to the company who makes them, letting them know my 21 month old baby can open doors with them on, therefore they don't work, I not only want my money back but you need to recall them! Really, I have to lock my closet door during the day or else he can get in there and explore. When I shower, I have to lock him in the bathroom with me, or I have to lock my bedroom door, to keep him in! Pain in the butt, let me tell you! Serena was not opening doors at this age and when she did learn we put the SAME knob covers on them and she couldn't figure it out! Maybe I should create a new one and make some money! LOL

Watering with Papa
What else can I say??? Here are the kids watering a new tree with my dad, Papa, aka Poppy. They both got soaked doing this and I was glad I got video. This was taken a few weeks ago. Now the weather here is cold in the morning and muggy, hot in the afternoons. I can't wait for the summer!

Wearing someones shoes

OK here is Brandon, again, wearing someones shoes! These are daddy's shoes. If you click here, you can see he loves to wear all different kinds of shoes, including Kylie's dress shoes and Serena's ballet shoes. Plus, he is a ham for the camera!

Before I Was a Mom
I never tripped over toys,
or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not
my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom,
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind,
and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom,
I never held down a screaming child
so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night
watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom,
I never held a sleeping baby just because
I didn't want to put him down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces
when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small
could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew that I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom,
I didn't know the feeling of
having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel
to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond
between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small
could make me feel so important and happy.
Before I was a Mom,
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night
every 10minutes to make sure all was ok.
I had never known the warmth,
the joy,
the love,
the heartache,
the wonderment
or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much,
before I was a Mom.
I know we have all read this before and it was just sent to me in an e-mail and I love it so much I decided to share it with all of you. This is something I can truly relate to.
