Serena ruins Christmas

We got Serena a new Dora bike for Christmas. Hayden was in his room with the door shut, putting it together. He left his room to go to the garage to get some more tools and he left the door open, and guess who went in there and found her bike! Yep, and we have not been able to get it away from her. So, she ruined one of her gifts, but as you can see in the pictures, she is so happy! I know she will be happy when she opens the Dora helmet we got to go with the bike.
Here she is happy as a clam!
Here she is watching tv.
Here is a picture of me. Thought I would put it on here, since I actually look decent, LOL.
Here is the full bike, and look at her feet! She was playing around and I actually got a picture of it. I didn't know I got this one until now. Glad I took it!

Remodel Pictures

Here are pictures of my new windows. They put them in so quick, I wasn't able to take any before pictures, but believe me, they needed to be replaced.
Here is the front of our house with the new windows.
Here is the dining area window.
A close up of the dining room window. All the white is aluminium and they didn't have to take out the entire thing, they just put in a new window. I love them, and they open for easy cleaning. Guess I will have to do windows now! LOL They are double pained, so the heat stays out in the summer and the cold stays out in the winter, and they are tinted just a bit.

New Family Addition to the Garcia Family

Here is Andy Garcia! He is my new nephew! He was born on Nov. 14th, weighing over 8 lbs.
Look at those cheeks! Aren't they chubby??? I love them! He has a lot of hair, too!
He sleeps like Brandon, with his mouth open! Trying to catch flies, LOL! Welcome Andy to the Zizumbo's Play House, I hope to take more pictures of him, so everyone can watch him grow!

Update on Brandon's Hearing

I took Brandon to Children's Hospital yesterday. After 2 hours in the car and then the appointment itself was 1 hour, Brandon and I were tired, to say the least. My mom went with me, thank goodness, and I am sure she was tired afterwards, too. Brandon is neurologically normal. The doctor that assessed him asked me if I wanted to basically drug him for an MRI. She told me (after a bunch of pregnancy related questions and after telling me he was absolutly normal for a 3 month old) it was up to me, and I decided not to have it done. Well, she was telling me that he had no neurological signs that anything was amiss. I am so happy and thankful to God that he is ok. I really do have a lot to be thankful for and after seeing all those sick children at the hospital, I had to count my blessings. I will have more in February after he goes back to House Ear Institute.

Update on Brandon's Hearing

Well, I know I just updated you the other day, but I have more news on Brandon. I got a call yesterday from Children's Hospital in Los Angeles. They have an appointment set for Monday at 8:30 in the neurology department! I am so excited and at the same time nervous to take him to this appointment. They had denied seeing him a while ago for whatever reason, so I was surprised to get the call. I will have to take Serena over to Grandma and Poppy's house and she will stay with Poppy. Grandma will accompany me and Brandon down to LA. Wish us luck!

Update on Brandon's Hearing

Well, I am a little late in posting this, but better late then never, right! I have been extremely busy working and I have not had the time to do .....well anything but work and take care of the kids. Brandon's specialist, Liz, came over a few weeks ago and was here 2 hours. Serena was talking her ear off! She just asked a bunch of questions regarding Brandon and my pregnancy and the birth and she asked about the hearing tests he had done at House Ear Institute. She was scheduled to come yesterday but they rescheduled for next Wednesday. She will do an evaluation, whatever that is. Brandon has his next appointment at House Monday, Feb. 4th at 9:45 to see Dr. Luxford, and ENT, (ears, nose and throat specialist) and then to see Marissa, she is the audiologist that has been assigned to him. I will keep you posted on what happens.

The Remodel

This is where our french doors will go, from our bedroom.
These are my steps, from the french doors, I love them!
Here is the roof, they are done with the shingles.
Here is the windows that will be in the babies room.
Here is another angle of the windows. Notice my kitchen window, well it will be that small. They had to cut some of it off, boo hoo! At least I will have a window, no matter the size, right?
