Cousin Marisa's 3rd Birthday Party

Here is Serena on a pony. They had 2 ponies for 2 hours at the beginning of the party.

Here is Brandon on his pony.

It was a Tinker Bell / Pirate theme, and they got the patch in their goodie bags.

This picture has nothing to do with the party, but he looks so cute playing with his ducky from Tiffany, thanks Tiff! He looked so cute, I had to post it!

Here is Marisa's Birthday cake. Everything you see was edible except for those pillars and it took the woman who made it 3 days !

Here is Brandon and Kylie, he is getting ready for his little ride around their front yard.

Here is Brandon with the patch on his eye! He hated it the first time I put it on and he puted adn this is the second time and he seemed to like it.

I don't have any pictures of Marisa on my blog, that is her mother's request. I have many cute pictures of Serena and Marisa I can send you seperately in an e-mail, so look for that in your IN Box.

Brandon Crawling Video

This is Brandon crawling! We are so happy for him, what a milestone! It won't be long now before he starts walking. He already pulls himself up to the standing position when he is in the porta~crib and when I sit on the floor next to him. They grow up so fast, so take lots of pictures to make lots of memories!

Home Made Pizza

Here is Kylie and Hayden on Valentine's Day. She is shredding the cheese and Hayden is needing the dough.

Here is Hayden putting his dough on a cookie sheet.

Here is Kylie and Serena putting the sauce on their pizza.

And now the cheese.

This is Hayden's pizza before the oven. We had a great time making pizza's on Valentine's Day. Ponch was out of town for work, so we had to do something while he was gone. We kind of burned the pizza crust, but it was still edible. We ate all but one piece. Yumm~o! I bought more pizza in a box so we can make more.

Kylie's Piano Recital

Here is Kylie at her second recital. She has been playing for a little over 2 years. She played Love Potion #9. The theme was numbers. It was fun and she messed up a few times. She was nervous!

Serena's GymZone Class

Here is Serena outside, before her second class with a new friend.

Here she is sitting on a strawberry. This is her second class. It is a gymnastics class for toddlers 2.5 to 4 years old and it is every Tuesday morning, for 30 minutes. She loves it! It is very hands-on, so I leave Brandon at home. I plan to enroll her in a dance class after this one, or a ballet class, something that she can do one day a week. This gives us our "special" time together and I think that is important.

Brandon's Visit To House Ear Institute

Let me see, where to begin. Last week was a busy one. Monday, Brandon went to the doc for his 6 month shots/checkup. He got 3 shots and had one in the form of liquid. He weighs 17 lbs 1 oz and is 26 inches long, doc says he is in the 50th percentile for height and weight, great, he is average!
Then, on Wednesday, we went to House Ear Institute. There they did a behavioral test on him, they hooked his ears up to little earphones and piped sounds in to his ears, and they were trying to see if he would turn his head to the right after the sound went in to the right ear, since that is his good ear. They told me that his right ear hears very normal which is great news. They also tested his hammer in the right ear and that test went well. They tried testing the left ear and well he was moving to much for the test, so we will have to do it next time. We go back on Friday, March 7th to see Dr. Luxford, he is an ENT (ear, nose and throat) dr and he will check Brandon's ears to make sure they have all the parts. This will be a good foundation so if in the future his ears change at all we can look back at what they looked like.
On Thursday, Valentine's Day, his Specialist Teacher and his Speech Therapist came to the house. They both asked a lot of questions, and the Speech Therapist said he is right where he should be for his age. Which makes us so happy! We will continue to have these 2 ladies over to the house to make sure Brandon is getting everything he needs to prepare for shoool. I know it is a long time away, but you can never prepare your self enough.
I am so happy to have all these resources available for Brandon. I forgot to ask his Specialist Teacher about a sign language book. I want to learn and teach him and Serena. I guess I need to make a trip to the library and get a book. I will keep you all posted on future appointments.

Brandon Spitting

Here is a video of Brandon spitting! It is one more thing that he has learned to do. He can sit alone and he tries crawling but he really just scoots. He sits in the floppy seat when we go to Target or Albertson's. He looks so small in the shopping carts, compared to Serena.

Serena and Brandon

Here is Serena and Brandon. She is wearing a 50's dress.

Here is Brandon on the bed, like the drool?

Hey! You caught me trying to get away!

Serena dancing! She has insisted on wearing dresses, but it has been very cold, so I have her wear a shirt under them.
Brandon chewing on the elephant, it was Serena's too.

Pictures of Brandon and Serena

Here is Brandon on our bed, trying to crawl, he is very close, he will do it soon.

Serena running down the new hall, it is longer then the old one!

There she is!

Brandon on Hayden's bed, see he has the pushing up no problem.
Here he is again on our bed, looks like he lost his balance.

More Remodel Pictures ~ almost done!

Here is the finished kitchen and Serena playing with her magnets.

Here is the box of the light we have outside our french doors, motion sensor.

Here is the light. They are all finished with the inside, yay! I am so happy for that. The only thing left is the roof, they have to fix it, eventually I will have pictures of that. And the text cote, and then it will be really finished. This has been an experience for both me and Ponch. I wish we would have chosen a different company, but what's done is done. Thank goodness! I am sick of workers coming every day.....
