Hayden Surfing

Totally Awesome, Dude! Here is Hayden surfing. I love the design on his board. He usually goes out with his dad, but this time Ponch, Serena, Brandon and I took him. I do give credit to his dad for taking these pics, my camera would never take pics this good, so thanks Bill! He has some damage to his right shoulder, so he won't be surfing for a while....had an MRI yesterday, will have to keep you posted on that....so for now, he can enjoy these on the blog!

VBS ~ Vacation Bible School

ok I am finally posting Serena's pics from VBS - Vacation Bible School. She went last week from July 20th to the 24th...so I am a little behind. I told a friend I would be all over this...and post it before it got old, LOL

The first pic is of our church and all the people who went. My older daughter and step daughter volunteered again this year like they did last year. Kids from ages 4-11 can attend and there is usually a theme and they learn a whole lot about God, Jesus and they sing songs. This year, the theme was GADGETS - God Always Does Good and Exciting Things, I think.

The second pic is of Serena in her VBS shirt. They give you a shirt and this year they had you do the iron on and well I had trouble with hers and had to have one of the kids help, LOL

The third pic is a painting that she did for me, finger painting. The fourth pic is her Gadgets necklace she made. It is supposed to say Gadgets but she put them on in the wrong order, LOL

The fifth pic is a paper bag puppet she made. It had more of the red dots on it, but Brandon had gotten a hold of it before I could take a picture.

She loved going to VBS and actually called it "school". So I am excited to start teaching her stuff in the Fall.

As you can see, the girls loved posing for the camera, LOL We had a lot of fun on Father's Day over at my sister-in-laws. The weather was wonderful. Again, sorry it has taken me this long to post pics!

Just wanted to post some pics of the kids swimming, since that is what they will be doing most of this summer. The weather is warm and the water is perfect.

Our Trip to Camarillo Library

Here is a reading table and then the bench in the back matches the pillar, it is hard to tell from the pic and I would have gotten closer but there was someone in there who looked at me weird for taking pics with no people in them, LOL

This is the children's section, it is a pirate ship. I didn't take a pic of the mast and the flag but it is very cool. Camarillo library is a wonderful place to take the kids, and I mean all the kids, even Brandon in the stroller loves going up and down the rows and rows of books. They even have an upstairs that has computers so you can do internet stuff or reports for school. Very cool library.
